I recently attended a screening of the latest Batman movie, The Dark Knight, and in case you haven't been exposed to the great hype surrounding its release, let me tell you right now; you should definitely go see it in theaters. I would especially recommend this movie to Christian parents who want to introduce their children to the dangers of secularism and how it can corrupt even the purest of hearts. I won't spoil the movie for you. But I will say that Heath Ledger and Christian Bale were excellent in this movie.Yes, I am aware that Heath Ledger played a homosexual cowboy in the movie Brokeback Mountain, and yes, it was very disappointing to see him in a such a pathetic movie. It is clear that something evil in him overpowered his goodness and filled his soul with hatred. I think this self-hatred is what drove him become a drug-addict and unfortunately he did not find Christ in time as he committed suicide by overdosing, and for that sin he forfeited his eternal soul. We should all learn from his mistake.
It is very tragic that Heath Ledger is writhing in eternal anguish and torment in hell. It literally makes me sick to know that he's down there right this very moment, out of his mind in mindblowing pain, screaming and crying for the pain to stop. But it will never, ever stop. If only he had accepted Christ into his heart, this could all have been avoided. Be sure to explain this very important fact to your child. Heath Ledger got infected with secularism and without Christ, the wound in his soul never healed completely. My deepest condolences go out to Ledger's family and friends. God bless.

In a film where Christianity plays no prominent role, how can you even make the claim Dent's downfall was caused because he didn't believe in jesus? Batman was never a clear cut Christian, yet he remained a symbol of justice. Dent was a violent man before the accident, as demonstrated by him nearly beating and killing the jokers lackey out in the street. If anything, that was telling us that even the most pure do have their weaknesses, and that any man will fall under the right stress. The point of the comic "The Killing Joke," which was a large influence on the film. In Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc, you can't knowingly, willingly, kill yourself. If you die, by accident, you still (have the chance)to get to those pearly gates.
